I’m a science nerd who has had an artistic side from a very young age. My grandfather was an amazing photographer, I like to think I’m channeling him just a bit every time I click my shutter. This picture is one of many that he took of me. My love for animals and inherent curiosity about life led me to obtain degrees in animal science and biology, and a career in research.

After having my kids I started spending some serious quality time with my camera. Analytical me wanted to understand every button and function on my dslr, and artsy me wanted to use that information to produce images that matched the ones in my imagination. Many days and nights have been spent figuring it out. I love to capture my crazy, messy, beautiful everyday life with my three kids, dogs, and husband.
