I often get asked by friends, family, and clients about how I learned more about my camera and photography. What resources are out there to learn more, where do you start? Typically it’s because they want to know more about how to use their own cameras, many have a dslr and just aren’t using it to it’s full potential. I have studied photography in a variety of ways: in-person and online workshops, books, self-teaching, and loads and loads of practice. You are never done “learning” photography skills, but it’s most important to start with the basics. And often important to go back to basics when you’ve been at this for a while!
