Gone scouting…the boys and I set out on some adventures last weekend.  We went off into various forest preserves, scouting for good locations for fall shoots.  Somehow, it instantly became fall (or winter?) last weekend…it was 39 degrees when we started in the morning!  The trees are starting to hit their color peak though, it was so pretty outside.  You never know what you’re going to find, but we weren’t exactly expecting a chapel in the woods (with super cool doors)…here’s Charlie catching some air.  Nate, not so much.  He’s still working on his hops.

While out looking around, Charlie kept informing me about the fact that there are “lots of creatures” in the forest.  When asked what type of creatures, he let me know that the list included deer, bugs, elephants, birds, fish, and the big bad wolf*.

*note: of those I only saw one bug.

Not so sure I’m  gonna follow you, dad…

  • Adele Humphries - That is a beautiful location! Love the fall colours and the pop of red from your own little red riding hood 😉ReplyCancel

  • Kristin Wojtulewicz - Great shots in front of the little chapel! My cousin was married there about 12-13 years ago, in October. It is beautiful around there!ReplyCancel
