Night light

Since the weather is garbage and it gets dark so early, I have been trying to work with what I have and shoot more inside at night in artificial light (or sometimes early in the morning when I’m up with Nate).  Because I don’t use my flash very often, this kind of light can be really awful looking, but I’ve recently been experimenting with Kelvin white balance…ah, yes, this does appeal to the scientist that I am.  It basically adjusts for the temperature of the light – making colors more true to what my eyes are seeing.  I’m a big fan so far.  My Rebel didn’t have the ability to do Kelvin and my 60D does, just another reason I love my new camera 🙂  These are of Nate Nate at night a couple nights ago, after his tubby (and in his standard fussy mood).  I’m trying to catch as many thunder thigh shots as I can before they melt away…
